An antique painting by Hermann Rudisuhli - Price: 60.00/OBO in Derry, Louisiana

Hermann Rudisuhli (xxxx-xxxx) was a Swiss born artist who mostly worked in Germany.  He produced a number of paintings depicting idyllic landscapes.  The print offered for sale is one of a series of lithographs that were printed in Switzerland during the early twentieth century.  The lithographs often depict different aspects of a beautiful fantasy world inhabited by toga wearing women.  The lithographs were also produced in various sizes.  The print offered for sale is the largest sized print.  The main subject features of this print are wisteria growing on a columned arbor with mountains and a lake in the distance.  The print has strong colors and has not suffered from sun exposure.  There is some discoloration spots along the top edge. There is an area with abrasions on the left above the mountains.  This resulted in some of the color being scraped away.  There is a close up photograph of this area that overall has a mild impact on the appearance of the print.  The print is signed in the lower left.  The frame is original from the xxxxs.  The image size is 39 1/2" x 20".  Any questions will be gladly answered.
